Description Grant Gayed CLA 2012-01-19 09:56:47 EST
I use Thunderbird for accessing the eclipse newsgroups. I used it yesterday to answer the questions at http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/277372/ and http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/277098/ , but today my replies are not showing in the eclipse forum. I do see my replies when viewing the newsgroups in Thunderbird.

I notice that those missing posts have each now appeared in the forum twice.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

Chances are the forum's NNTP sync was stalled. In the last two years I've had to kick it a few times.

Please reopen if this is still an issue.
