Oops! I can't do this: the date is in the bmp and the original file which might have the text in a different layer is made with Photoshop which I don't have access to.

do you need a version and copyright change or just the year?  Who did the version change for 3.7.1?

Copyright year on the splash screen needs to be updated. The About dialog is good now.

The version was not in the splash bitmap < 3.8 (it says "Indigio"). Hence there was no updated needed for 3.7.1. But for 3.7.2 we need to change the copyright date to "2012".
