When logged in to a non-committer Bugzilla account, click on File a Bug, and you are initially presented with a kind of click-through page to select the project (i.e. https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi for non-committers).

The Orion Eclipse project is now becoming important enough that it should be a direct link under the "Eclipse itself:" heading (instead of forcing the user to click on "More..." to find Orion). This would also be more consistent with the committer click-through pages, where you select "Eclipse" and "Orion" to open Orion bugs.

ping. In the past couple of days, we have had emails from out of the blue offering to help test Orion for accessibility, and asking where to put bugs.
This is from non-eclipse-committers who work in other open source communities, and they are being drawn to Orion, and they want to contribute.
I'd like to try to make it as easy as possible for them to open bugs against Orion, but at present it is not clear what to select if you are a non-committer.
Right now, they have to look way down past all of the other choices until they see the "More..." at the end.

In the meanwhile, a link to your bug category could also be displayed prominently on such sites as http://orionhub.org/ and http://orion.eclipse.org.org/

FWIW, I'm not sure I understand why Orion should be under the "Eclipse itself" category, since it has nothing to do with what most people consider "Eclipse".

Sorry, forgot to answer comment 2. I did talk to Ken Walker (Orion lead) about where the Orion link should go, and he said "For now, it should be under Eclipse".

Links to open Orion bugs are already displayed on http://orionhub.org/ and
http://orion.eclipse.org/ (they're not exactly "prominent", however they are in a list of links at the bottom of each page...). If I had been working in Orion, I would have noticed them. However I was just helping a student open an Orion bug, and we approached it from the Bugzilla angle, rather than the Orion angle. :)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

We won't be investing any resources into improving Bugzilla, as we encourage projects to use GitHub and Eclipse GitLab (https://gitlab.eclipse.org).
