Description Charles Goodwin CLA 2012-01-17 05:19:38 EST
Build Identifier: M20110909-1335

When Windows reboots and closes Eclipse, it closes the Eclipse windows one at a time, and this loses a multiple window configuration with just a single window opening next time you open that workspace in Eclipse.

To retain a multiple window configuration in Eclipse, you must close Eclipse using the File->Exit option (and not the window 'x').

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a multiple window configuration
2. Reboot Windows
3. Open the same workspace, only 1 window returns

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
