On re-opening project's Debug Configuration, 
the "Path to the debugger executable" is empty even though it was previously entered. The red sign appears above "Debugger" tab.
The same things happens when switching tabs:
1. enter the path
2. switch to Synchronize tab and back to Debugger.
3. Observe an empty string. 

It seems that "Debugger backend" settings also always show the same "gdb-mi" independently on the previous choice.

I believe this is Linux specific.

Committed Chris's temporary fix. Need to resolve bug 370781 before this can be fixed.
