Description Christian Schäfer CLA 2012-01-16 02:28:11 EST
Using Eclipse Indigo with the following plugins

GPE

GWT Designer
Version: 2.4.2
Build id: 2011.10.18

m2e

and creating an GWT Project using the gwt-maven-plugin archetype leads to a project which can be started using gwt:run without any problems.
Trying to open the class containing the EntryPoint implementation with Designer seems to need endless time... after about 5 minutes the Designer crashes (see attachement)

It seems that something prevents GWTD from creating IE browser.

Does it work if you create non-Maven project?
From what I see this probably will not make any difference, but still...

Can you try to use WebKit instead?
Comment 3 Eric Clayberg CLA 2012-01-17 14:26:46 EST
That is actually a good point. Why isn't WebKit being used rather than IE? WebKit is the default under Windows 7.

Closing. Please reopen if this is still an issue.
