How hard would it be to allow an Orion developer who is defining a site to add user credentials for that site? I'm thinking of the scenario where someone is demoing work they've done, and they want someone to run an Orion site to see what they've done. There's also the "look at my code" scenario that's useful in self-hosting. I'm thinking about how a collaboration demo would play, and right now the "give the person your orion credentials" is the blatant hole. For self hosted sites, it might be nice to specify read only access on the workspace.
side note: i'm not sure but I think that running someone else's Orion can tinker with my settings. opened bug 368481
We already enable global read only access on a workspace. This means any site launched from Orion that just consists of "static" content served from the workspace should work fine for any user without authentication. The case that doesn't work is the Orion self-hosting case, because eventually the hosted site will attempt to make calls to the Orion HTTP API that requires authentication. Even in that case I would think I could login with *my* credentials into *your* self-hosted site.
