Description Tim Buschtoens CLA 2012-01-12 06:11:39 EST
When adding a key-sequence to CANCEL_KEYS, chrome wont send key events for those anymore. The reason is that the key events are fired on keypress, and keypress is not fired if keydown was canceled. IE had the same issue, which was fixed by not calling preventDefault on keydown events in KeyEventSupport.js. For KeyEvents canceled elsewhere, see Bug 366788.

Fixed in HEAD.

Unlike IE, in chrome keypresses are also prevented if event.returnValue on keydown is set to false.
