Description Mark Macdonald CLA 2012-01-11 13:02:57 EST
Currently the TextStyler is always used for Java, JavaScript, JSON and CSS files.
This makes it impossible for a service to provide an alternative.

We should only fall back to the TextStyler when there are no registered services capable of handling one of these types.

I'd like to write a highlighter for JS files that does something different and would need to override the default. Silenio, is this still an issue?

This is still an issue. The culprit is highlight.js -- the logic there needs to check extensions first.
