I will do an update pass on the Juno plan over the next week or so. PMC please send me any feedback on changes you think are needed. I will run my tool to auto-generate the EE list in the appendix so don't worry about that.
I have no additions but two questions: 1. can we change the dates to be ISO 8601-compliant? 2. do we need to clarify "latest service release" for the Linux distros in the reference platform table?
JRE 7 needs to be added to the target environments. I requested to switch at least one test machine to Oracle JRE 7u2 (see bug 342460 comment 17). Since we no longer have a separate 3.x plan we should indicate which plan items also appear in 3.8 (or which ones do not). We have "Compatibility of Release 4.2 with 3.7", but we should probably also add a section "Compatibility of Release 4.2 with 3.8", which I guess is even more interesting to the community. - Use annotations for null checking This can be moved to 'Committed' - 'Start work on Java SE 8 features' We currently participate in the expert groups but for 3.8 there won't be any artifacts available for download. We should move this to 'Deferred' to better match reality.

(In reply to comment #2) > Since we no longer have a separate 3.x plan we should indicate which plan items > also appear in 3.8 (or which ones do not). I don't see this adding any useful information. Clearly the "Make Eclipse 4 Enterprise Ready" item doesn't apply to 3.8, but otherwise they are the same. > We have "Compatibility of Release 4.2 with 3.7", but we should probably also > add a section "Compatibility of Release 4.2 with 3.8", which I guess is even > more interesting to the community. I have changed this section to "Compatibility of Release 4.2 with 3.8".
