Today I build a new RT Package with tycho and noticed that the following bundles are included: org.eclipse.ui org.eclipse.ui.workbench org.eclipse.swt It was pretty annoying because I only depend on Equinox Features. Some analysis showed that the responsible feature that depends on those bundles is the org.eclipse.equinox.core.sdk feature. The feature includes the org.eclipse.equinox.security.ui and org.eclipse.equinox.security.ui.source bundle. I think the core SDK should not depend on the .ui stuff. My workaround is to add all bundles myself except the security.ui bundle which is pretty bad because I can't receive updates and so on. Fixing this bug for Juno M5 would be very welcome within the Runtime Packaging Project ;) Cheers Holger
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it.
