The problem seems to reside in ProrPropertyCellEditorProvider.  The actual editor is instantiated in getDefaultCellEditor().  But those editors all assume that the properties belong to an AgileGrid (and are SpecObjects, associated with a SpecHierarchy).  This is not the case if the properties belong to an element that is selected in the Outline, for instance.
