Description Markus Keller CLA 2012-01-03 06:23:44 EST
For testing purposes, I have a secondary non-privileged Bugzilla account with email markuskeller@fastmail.fm.

I cannot log in to this account any more ("The username or password you entered is not valid."), though I'm 99.9% sure I know the right password.

When I click "Forgot Password" and then try to reset it, I get "The system is not configured to allow password change requests."

=> The account is completely locked out.

Sorry, I only saw the mail from webmaster on 2011-12-23 now. I now tried to reset the password using https://dev.eclipse.org/site_login/createaccount.php , but the result was "You have already submitted a request. This request has been ignored. (8727s)"

We got overwhelmed with password resets, and it was in 'protective' mode. Can you try resetting again?

FWIW, I also changed the bugzilla password reset function to provide a link to the real reset location.

Thanks, worked fine now.

After changing the password, I was brought to a login page where I could successfully log in. The result page had links to bugzilla, wiki, forums, etc.
But when I clicked the bugzilla link, I wasn't logged into bugzilla and had to log in again. Not sure if that's the intended workflow, but it works.

We'd like to do a single sign-on, and we're inching towards that solution, but for now getting Bugzilla to participate requires more effort than what we can afford. Fortunately, once you've logged in to BZ you shouldn't need to do it again.

Thanks for verifying that it all works.
