Created attachment 208894 [details] Screenshot The "Print Topics" menu and "Search Topics" menu are shown at the top of the Contents (Table of Content) frame ("tocViewFrame"). Unfortunately, if this frame has a vertical scrollbar then the menus at the top might lie outside the visible area. Depending on the web browser (embedded in the Help window or as web browser to browse the help web application) the behavior differs: - In Internet Explorer the Table of Content frame is scrolled to the top so that the menu is visible (the unexpected automatic scrolling is bothersome when the selected topic moves out of the visible area) - In Firefox the Table of Content frame is not scrolled to the top and thus the menu in some cases does not appear in the visible area (see attached screenshot). - In Safari, Opera, etc. ...? Steps to reproduce: 1. In Firefox open http://help.eclipse.org/indigo/index.jsp 2. If the Table of Content frame has no scrollbar then reduce window height 3. Scroll Table of Content frame to the bottom 4. Click "Print Topics" or "Search Topics" Is: menu is not shown (the Table of Content frame has to be scrolled to the top to make the menu visible) Should: The menu should be shown below the "Print/Search Topic" button (independent of the scrolling of the Table of Content frame) See also bug 344644 (horizontal alignment of the menu)

Any chance to get this in 3.8/4.2? Anything more I should supply?
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
