Following instructions from Reviews/R4E/User Guide to install R4E plugins for Eclipse Indigo running on Java 5. Have successfully installed subclipse but then run into problems when installing Mylyn Reviews. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install Mylyn Reviews from http://download.eclipse.org/mylyn/snapshots/nightly/reviews/
2.Select Mylyn Reviews for Eclipse: R4E and click next
3.On the install details page I get the following page:

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
  Software being installed: Mylyn Reviews for Eclipse: R4E (Incubation) 0.9.0.I20111223-0525 (org.eclipse.mylyn.reviews.r4e.feature.feature.group 0.9.0.I20111223-0525)

1) As per the installation instructions. Did you include the following update sites as part of your p2 repositories ?


Add the following Software Sites to the Eclipse workspace (Help -> Install New Software -> Add)

Mylyn weekly: http://download.eclipse.org/mylyn/snapshots/weekly

Mylyn Versions nightly: http://download.eclipse.org/mylyn/snapshots/nightly/versions/

Mylyn Reviews nightly: http://download.eclipse.org/mylyn/snapshots/nightly/reviews/


2) Make sure to include the complete details of the installation error, as we can not see what is the missing dependency. You can also attach the .log file under the workspace directory/.metadata/.log

3) Installation should be no problem after adding the sites mentioned above in "1)" However R4E has been tested mainly under windows vista and Linux, it's expected to work on newer systems I.e. It has not been tested on windows server 2003.  Is there a chance that you can use it on later windows releases ?

I will close this TR, as this is pertaining to an old release.  Please reopen if installing is still an issue.
