Description Ed Willink CLA 2011-12-22 01:45:46 EST
Prior to MWE 2.2 / M4, it was possible to install MWE from update ZIPs by

a) Unzip platform
b) Install EMF SDK + XSD SDK
c) Install MWE2

This no longer works. I get

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: MWE 2 runtime SDK 2.2.0.v201112070431 (org.eclipse.emf.mwe2.runtime.sdk.feature.group 2.2.0.v201112070431)
Missing requirement: MWE2 Lib 2.2.0.v201112070431 (org.eclipse.emf.mwe2.lib 2.2.0.v201112070431) requires 'package com.google.common.base 1.0.0' but it could not be found
  Cannot satisfy dependency:
    From: MWE 2 runtime SDK 2.2.0.v201112070431 (org.eclipse.emf.mwe2.runtime.sdk.feature.group 2.2.0.v201112070431)
    To: org.eclipse.emf.mwe2.lib [2.2.0.v201112070431]

requiring a complex croos-installation with Xtext to resolve.

Surely MWE2 should bundle the relevant Orbit library?

Orbit I20120306200913 now provides recent bundles. Work in progress.
