Build Identifier: The console preference page features a header that turns red when provided values are not acceptable. However, with some easy steps the header can be tricked into acknowledging the settings even though they are incorrect. The Apply button can't be fooled that easily so the header should be aligned with that Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Console preferences (Run/Debug->Console) 2. Delete tab width value "8" so that the text is empty: Header turns red: Tab width must be... 3. Change Console Buffer Size to 8000 (delete trailing zero): Header turns OK, Apply is still not enabled (which is correct, the tab size is still empty)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. This bug was marked as stalebug a while ago. Marking as wontfix. If this report is still relevant for the current release, please reopen and remove the stalebug whiteboard tag.
Still the same and should be rather easy to fix.
