Description Helmut J. Haigermoser CLA 2011-12-21 11:03:32 EST
Build Identifier:

The "Rebuild" actions are long gone from the UI, but they are still shipped. The action can be found in the "Keys" section of the preferences, and there it can be assigned a shortcut. Trying out that shortcut showed no rebuild happening, not with java projects, but more importantly not with c(dt) Projects.

The right answer here might be to remove these actions from Eclipse since they don't seem to work anymore, or do we want to fix them?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Assign shortcut Ctrl-Shift-C to action "Rebuild All" in Preferences->General->Keys
2. Close preferences, go to cdt project
3. Ctrl-Shift-C: Nothing happens

*Setting version to 3.7.1*

Could not find a "build" component, let me know if this one is the proper domain. Also, please request further information in case this is not sufficient to reproduce...

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
