Build Identifier: 20100218-1602 I'm seeing a large number of similar complaints. I'm not behind a firewall, but I'm using McAfee virus software. I can connect to the repository sites with a browser. Tried installing both Galileo and Indigo alternately, several times, same problem. Tried Native and Direct settings. Tried https and http URLs with and without trailing slash (/). Tried clearing and re-entering sites.... I tried everything suggested on several forums. Am I missing something? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Fails withh all of the following... -Install New Software > Work with (any) -Software Updates > Find and Install -Preferences > Install/Update > Available Software sites > (select any) > Test Connection

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
