Let's use this bug as a parent for bugs describing changes we'd like to include in the 2012 revision of the EDP.

My plan is to have a draft ready for review by the Architecture council by the end of third quarter (September 2013). Realistically, it's unlikely that we'll have a final version ready before the end of fourth quarter, so we'll target delivering this to the board for their approval in early 2014.
