Description Helmut J. Haigermoser CLA 2011-12-19 10:04:28 EST
Build Identifier:

When creating a bookmark from the editor a dialog requests a non-empty "Name", seems like this might be used as mandatory identity of the bookmark.

However, when opening the bookmarks view itself a description can be deleted out of it with the bookmark still functioning.

No big problem there but the functionality should be unified, either we allow an empty Name, or we don't, and the column in the view and the creation dialog should have an identical 'name' for the bookmark..

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create bookmark (try an empty name)
2. look at the bookmark in the bookmark view
3. delete "description" of the bookmark

*setting version to 3.7*

This seems like an easy UI fix, please let me know if a 3.8 pickup is possible! :)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
