Currently, a few plug-ins declare some generic utility methods for EMF-based operations. Most of the time, we need to duplicate these methods as the plug-ins don't always depend on each other.

We need a lower-level plug-in on which all EMF-based plug-ins can depend, in order to regroup these utility methods in a single plug-in.
