Build Identifier: With the attached sample text in Devanagari, StyledText adds a strange circle to the text if a style is set - but it does not if there are no styles. The circle appears behind the styled text range; see the two screenshots. This seems to be a Windows-specific problem; it does not occur on Linux. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: See snippet and screenshots. The snippet expects the file 'test.txt' to be placed in the current working directory.

I still need to try the test case but judging from the screenshot I'd say the style is break a cluster apart.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
