Description John Arthorne CLA 2011-12-13 09:14:17 EST
0.4 M1 on orionhub.org

On the Chrome beta channel, running Chrome 17

DJ tried out M1 this morning and found the slideout to enter a file/folder name is broken. He can type, but pressing enter or clicking the checkmark button has no effect. The following appeared in the console:

event.layerX and event.layerY are broken and deprecated in WebKit. They will be removed from the engine in the near future.
/navigate/built-table.js:462Uncaught Error: Service was unregistered

DJ reports the browser version is Chrome 17.0.963.6 dev

For the event stuff, I found the referenced dojo bug (which has not been assigned a milestone yet). http://bugs.dojotoolkit.org/ticket/14114
But reading what others are saying, it seems like there are warnings triggered but I'm not sure this would break the code.

Not sure if the "Service was unregistered" happened as a result, or was a separate issue, and which problem caused the malfunction.

Renaming this bug because the slideouts are working in chrome (we are at 19 now.) However it's good to track where this warning is coming from (dojo).
