Description Danail Branekov CLA 2011-12-10 09:50:24 EST
The results are currently always displayed in a tab ("Results"). When a search provider is not capable of providing information in another tab, having a tab folder wastes space
It should be considered whether it makes sense to show the tab folder only if necessary

This is related to BZ 366301 I think, with making the view a bit more like the Type Hierarchy View. If we go that way, the Results "tab" can go away and be replaced by some text in the toolbar on top of the Results side of the view.

Sorry, not 366301, but 366307, which I've added a dependency on...

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and remove the stalebug whiteboard tag. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
