12/08 HEAD
1. Create a self-hosting site and log in to it
2. Type a query in the search box, press enter
3. You never see any search results. An error 500 is thrown by the server.

The URL the search tries to get is:
> /filesearch?sort=Path%20asc&rows=40&start=0&q=var
                       ^^^
 
In the server log, I see an exception like this being thrown:

> java.io.IOException: 
> Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL: http://localhost:8080/filesearch?sort=Path%2520asc&rows=40&start=0&q=var
                                                                                             ^^^^^
It seems to have turned %20 into %2520 by URL encoding the "%".
