Description Jeff Lange CLA 2011-12-08 11:10:52 EST
Build Identifier: 1.5.1.3

Running OpenSuSE 12.1 x64, launching epf immediately exits without any sort of error message. The return code (echo $?) comes back as 13.

I have tried this with both the OpenJDK (1_6_0-openjdk-1.6.0.0_b22.1.10.4), and the Sun JRE (1.6.0-0_29)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.extract epf-composer-1.5.1.3-linux.zip
2.run ./epf
3.nothing...

Well, this is an existing issue, and 1.5.1.1 has the same problem. We need to look at the packaging for the Linux platform again. Just curious about the fact it had not been discovered and raised earlier.

Thanks much for submiiting the report.

By the way, OpenSuSE 12.x as well as OpenJDK are not officially supported anyway. We only tested with Red Hat Enterprise 4 & 5, SuSE Enterprise 9 & 10.

Thanks.

This bugzilla has been fixed in the latest EPF 1.5.1.4 build, it works well with OpenJDK 1.6 under RedHat Linux.
