If I make a change to a Java source file, an asterisk appears in the editor tab to indicate that there are unsaved changes. Very useful. If I then undo my changes (CTRL-Z), the asterisk disappears. Again, very useful. If I do this same in a JSP or tag file, the asterisk does not disappear when I undo my change. Therefore, the tab is indicating there are unsaved changes when there are none. Is there a reason for this? Surprisingly, I find this behaviour annoying enough to warrant raising a bug report. If there is a good reason, it will probably annoy me less. -- Configuration Details -- Product: Eclipse 1.4.1.20110909-0613 (org.eclipse.epp.package.jee.product) Installed Features: org.eclipse.platform 3.7.1.r37x_v20110729-9gF7UHOxFtniV7mI3T556iZN9AU8bEZ1lHMcVK
Thanks for your bug report. There's no good reason for it ;) But we already have Bug 138100 open to track it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 138100 ***
Great, thanks (not sure I would have found the duplicate)
