Using e4, the JPA perspective has a tool bar button that is labeled 'New Entity', but it is not a drop-down. With eclipse 3.7 platform it is correctly shown as a drop-down where you can choose to create a new entity or a mapping file.

we are using a deprecated extension point org.eclipse.ui.actionsSets. Within that extension point the 'pulldown' attribute is deprecated, I think we need to instead use  style="pulldown" or completely get rid of the use of the deprecated extension point.

Of course this also points to an error in e4, they are ignoring the 'pulldown' attribute, that makes it unsupported instead of deprecated.

I changed our actionSets extension point to use style="pulldown". Also entered a bug against the platform to still support the deprecated 'pulldown' attribute: bug 366037.

Attempted to remove our use of the deprecated actionSets extension point, but this is how this type of toolbar dropdown menu is done in jdt.ui and jee.ui and I am unsure how to support this without spending days of effort. I also don't want to break any extenders that might be adding to that menu.
