Description Benjamin Muskalla CLA 2011-11-24 15:56:20 EST
Use case from users:

* go to hudson.eclipse.org
* copy url and using hudson connector to connect
* refresh jobs leads to error
 Server validation failed: Unexpected error: Failed to parse response from https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/?/api/xml?wrapper=hudson&depth=1&xpath=/hudson/job&exclude=/hudson/job/build

 Problem is that hudson has a redirect to https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/? which confuses the connector due to the ? at th end. We should ignore everything after ? (including ?) as this should not be part of the url.
Comment 1 Steffen Pingel CLA 2011-12-23 12:49:14 EST
Agreed, the connector should be more tolerant and helpful if the URL format is not as expected.
