Description John Arthorne CLA 2011-11-23 09:03:46 EST
Various services like GitHub and cloud deployment platforms like Heroku and OpenShift require you to have SSH keys. If you're on a tablet and you don't already have a pair available, this can be a pain. We should consider offering to generate a key pair on our server. We would never give out the private key to anyone, but would give access to the public key so the user can upload it to GitHub/Heroku/etc. This also removes the need to transfer a private key over the wire which is a current security hole.
