Description Simone Bordet CLA 2011-11-22 11:39:09 EST
The JDK 6 on Hudson seems to be 1.6.0_21.

This version is now out of date, especially for security patches, and in particular for the TLS Renegotiation Attack issue, see http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/documentation/tlsreadme2-176330.html.

In Jetty builds, we are specifically testing for TLS renegotiations, and with the current JDK the tests fail because 1.6.0_21 does not support renegotiations.

We'll improve the tests skipping it for obsolete JDK versions, but meanwhile can you please update the JDK on Hudson ?

Thanks !

I just took a quick look and it appears we installed the 1.7 JDK back in June. Is it not showing up in the list of JDKs you can pick?

It does show JDK 7. But we need JDK 6.
After all, the purpose of CI is to test with various configs, JDK versions, etc.
Thanks.

Ok, I've installed jdk 1.6.0_27 both the 32bit and 64bit versions.
