The doc has long spoken of the "Rich UI editor" rather than the "Visual editor"; but the Rich UI appearance preference uses the second phrase. The box at the bottom should say "Render engine for the Rich UI editor", and we don't need any phrase thereafter, even "Select the render engine used by the Rich UI editor".
also, "Use default rendering engine" should say "Use default render engine" or (better) "Use default."

Brian, here's the fix to some UI text changes proposed by Saul. Can this go into 0.7. It should not impact any function.
I am fine with the change in comment 1. My only concern with changing the 'Rich UI Editor' to 'Visual Editor' is that there could be a point in the future where there is more than one 'Visual Editor', and it would be difficult to determine which editor these preferences were for at that time. I have cc'd Will and Theresa for their opinion.
The name is and should be the Rich UI editor, not the Visual editor.
We've been using "Rich UI editor" and "Visual editor" almost interchangeably, but let's pick one term. "Rich UI editor" seems the most clear. Plus, someone may add another visual editor not for RUI in the future. :-)
We will resolve this after .7.
Fixed
Zhang Hong, I am looking at this: EGL Web Developer Tools 0.8.0.v201201130904-1CT-Fiv5_M5_LMsfUbc and the preference says "Visual Editor." Should I only be looking at the .7 stream?
Saul, my bad, the fix missed some changes. I've committed the expected text. You are right to use the 0.8 code stream, there's no .7 stream. confirmed in a mid-February build.
