Hoping this problem is addressed to the right audience.

I use a dark kde theme. In eclipse, when switching to the swing designer, the "Palette" component and the "Properties" table do not respect the colors assigned to text from within kde system settings, e.g. the text in "Palette" is always black. In my situation, this makes the text unreadable.

As a workaround, a lighter theme can be used.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change DE's colors to a dark theme
2. Re-open eclipse
3. Switch to Windowbuilder swing designer

What is the theme exact name? Any screenshots?

Adding a snapshot of the interface I see.

kde (4.7.3) theme for the snapshot: "obsidian coast"

eclipse setting: reduced palette (preferences/general/appearance/current theme), but the problem persists with any of the three choices.

best,
IC
