I20111117-2230

On the edit page, the top of the breadcrumb says "Navigator Root". When in the navigate page, the top entry says "root". This is inconsistent in both name and capitalization.

I think the user name still shows up in some situations, too. I intend to clean this up while looking at bug 349531
Comment 2 Simon Kaegi CLA 2011-11-18 13:49:37 EST
...just to be sure.

I'd like to avoid showing the user name as no-one might be authenticated or authentication provider might not be able to provide a name, there might be multiple file services and multiple user names involved etc...

yes. I added it back once, and we sort of removed it, but I think there are still some places where it gets used, just need to clean up this part of the code in general.

I think the best approach is to clean this up as part of bug 368282 and use the name of the file system as the root in the breadcrumb.
Comment 5 Susan McCourt CLA 2012-01-10 15:49:36 EST
we are now using the file system name as the root
