Description Susan McCourt CLA 2011-11-17 10:00:33 EST
Build Identifier:

When a "More" button appears in a parameter slideout, it's easy to assume that you must click it. We should have an OK button or icon.

Reproducible: Always

to clarify...we should always have OK and Cancel (the close box), whether there is a more button or not.
And the more button should be styled rather small.

I tried several different combinations of fonts, etc. It looked kind of weird to have "Close" be an icon, and use OK and More as buttons. Changing "close" to a text button didn't help either. The dismiss buttons were grabbing more attention than the parameter part.

I think the best approach is to have some icons for more, OK, and close. I hacked up some icons for more and OK, will get the designer to do real versions. Opened bug 364399 to start tracking our icon needs for 0.4.
