Description Austin Riddle CLA 2011-11-16 13:51:31 EST
In this new version, there is an API to manage the File Cleaner thread that is causing a classloader leak in applications deployed in servlet containers like Tomcat.
Comment 1 Austin Riddle CLA 2011-11-16 13:57:37 EST
The currently approved version only provides: FileCleaner.getInstance().exitWhenFinished() is not workable for RAP because it can only be called once for the application.
Comment 2 Chris Aniszczyk CLA 2011-11-16 13:58:45 EST
Can you create a CQ for RAP at portal.eclipse.org or have someone do it for 1.2.2?

Then we can get it into Orbit.

Sure, so it would not be a CQ piggybacking on the existing 1.2 approval CQ?
Comment 4 Chris Aniszczyk CLA 2011-11-16 14:01:41 EST
It would be a brand new CQ for 1.2.2

After that CQ is created, point me to it and I can create the piggyback CQ in Orbit.

Orbit CQ: https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=5810

Now we just wait for approvals.

Hi Chris,

Were you going to create the new Orbit bundle for 1.2.2 or did you need me to do it?

You are more than welcome to update the bundle. I'm swamped with other things now at the end of this year :/
Comment 9 Austin Riddle CLA 2011-12-14 13:13:02 EST
Correct me if I am wrong, do I need to make a 1_2_2 branch or just update the bundle?

Make a new branch and update the bundle. Then update the map file and feature in the orbit releng project. If you run into issues, feel free to email orbit-dev and ask :)

Updated bundle is now available.
