The position of span in IE 8 has problem, so change it to div.

If I remember correctly, changing widgets from span to div can result in changes occurring in unexpected places (e.g. when the widget is used within a box, grid, etc).  

Due to the fact that we do not have much regression testing left for .7, and the fact that this issue occurs in RBD, I think we should revert this change.  We can make the change at the beginning of the next release when there will be more testing to find any issues.
