Description Allan Jacobs CLA 2011-11-06 22:58:58 EST
Build Identifier: M20110909-1335

Deletion of a Papyrus model leaves a uml file in it's wake instead of completely disappearing.

Papyrus v 0.8.1v201109161.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. File > New > Papyrus Project
2. Project Name: PapyrusProject1
3. Finish
4. File > New > Other...
5. Select Papyrus > Papyrus Model in New dialog.
6. Next
7. Select PapyrusProject1 in New Papyrus Model dialog.
8. Name: DoomedModel.di
9. Finish.
10. Expand PapyrusProject1 in Project Explorer.
11. File > Close All
12. Right click on DoomedModel.di
13. Delete
14. OK

DoomedModel.di will disappear and DoomedModel.uml will appear in ProjectExplorer below the project node PapyrusProject1. Deleting DoomedModel.uml seems to have no bad consequences. Why is it left in the file system?

The problem should not occur anymore in 0.10. See Bug 402036 for more details: [Project Explorer] Multiple issues with manipulation of Papyrus models in the Project Explorer
