Hello Mylyn team, can you please integrate also the Mylyn Github connector (from Indigo train) into you Mylyn Connector Discovery page? 
This connector is part of Eclipse EGit project and maintained by Kevin Sawicky, Chris Aniszczyk and EGit team.

Thanks for the request. The criteria for adding a listing are specified on the wiki page at: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Mylyn/Discovery#Listing_Criteria.

Is there any interest from the maintainers of the connector to pursue this?

We would need indication from the maintainers of the connector that they are willing to support this effort. I'll mark this bug as wontfix for now but please feel free to reopen if any of the maintainers are willing to take that on.
