Description Victor Homyakov CLA 2011-11-03 09:12:20 EDT
Folders marked as "Derived" are not ignored by validators.

For example target folder of maven project. Suppose I have invalid XML/JSP/etc. in resources folder, and after build I'll have two validation messages for each warning: one for original resource, one for resource copied to target folder.

I know there is a possibility to exclude specific folders from validation, but it should be done for each validator individually, in every Eclipse installation. Much more easy would be to have option "ignore derived resources".
