Build Identifier: 20111101

The compile errors exist in many places, such as api.eglx_lang.EString001.
is it the change of design? or a bug? if so, please fix it.

Reproducible: Always

Limited strings are not supported in 0.7.

The validation change was as designed, please refer to Bug 358763

Was does the Found 9 mean?

The validation message ends with the string "Found 9", I don't know the meaning.

Changed the test cases, and close this bug.
Comment 5 Brian Svihovec CLA 2011-11-03 09:24:15 EDT
Paul,

I assume the 'found 9' means that a length of 9 was specified for the string. Can we clean up this error message? Maybe, "The type {0} cannot specify a fixed length."
Comment 6 Paul Harmon CLA 2011-11-03 10:17:28 EDT
I have removed the last sentence of that message to remove the confusion.
Comment 7 pf yu CLA 2011-11-08 02:58:20 EST
Verified in build 20111107. "Found 9" has gone away.
