When you do the initial push for a brand new project EGit should offer to create the remote "origin" entry so the the upstream options work.

Currently it's only offered for projects that already have an origin remote set.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Do a push to a remote repo for a brand new project.

Please see bug 382190, for an improvement of the "publish branch" workflow. This would address the use case mentioned here as adding a remote is part of the wizard when none exists yet.

When using the "Push Branch..." wizard of bug 382190, this is now possible. Marking as fixed.
