Hi,

Doing a simple "mvn clean" or "mvn help:describe" using tycho will always starts by a "Scanning for projects..." and does a target platform resolution that takes a long time.

i do not know if this is feasible to deactivate this for maven targets that does not need to have a target platform resolution, but will be great to improve performance !
