Build ID appears below the name "Eclipse".  I would expect it to appear below the version number as it does on 3.8.  (Technically it appears below the version name (Indigo) on 3.8) but likewise I expect it to show below the 4.2 on Eclipse 4.x

I wouldn't worry about this much since the splash should be changing soon. I actually don't know where it is defined. org.eclipse.platform/plugin.xml defines the location for progress bar and message, but I don't see where build id location is set.

Got fixed a while ago for the old splash screen.
