Build Identifier: I20110613-1736 During editing/adding a new software site to a target definition file, on have to naturally to select which plugins to include. But when selection multiple item groups, the window freezes for longer and longer periods of time, the more items you have selected. When the window freezes, my CPU uses 100% of a single core. Adding every group on the http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo/ site takes 2m 30s, in which I can do nothing but wait and monitor the process, as I must be ready to add the next item, when the loading i done. This is especially annoying as Bug 275999 makes one do it every time a little change is necessary . Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a new target definition file. 2. Add a large software site (eg: http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo/) 3. Select all items, by checking them one by one.

Select all items, by checking them one by one. So this is only while you have the 'add content' wizard for software sites open and are adding individual software items? I had to select a lot of items (30+) before I saw any slow down and I do not see 100% cpu use. The performance does get worse though. I experience the same slowdown in the p2 install wizard, so the problem is Since this also happens in the p2 install wizard, I'm going to move this to p2 UI.
