The new synchronized project wizard is confusing because it allows the user to select a non-local project on the first page. The synchronization information is also specified on the last page, and problems can occur if the user modifies the configuration. All this happens because the wizard is re-using the CDT new project wizard, which is not really designed to be extended in this way. Synchronized projects really need their own wizard.
