The current GRE detection sets a ceiling of version 1.9.2.x.  However mozilla changed their xulrunner version numbering mid-way through the 1.9.2.x support period to "3.6.x" in order to align with firefox.

The Browser should be able to embed these 3.6.x xulrunners since they appear to just be a continuation of the 1.9.2.x stream.

Actually the GRE detection seems to still consider these to be 1.9.2.x, so presumably they're registered with the 1.9.2.x string even though their version "name" has changed to 3.6.x.  So there's nothing to do other than update the FAQ.  Closing report.
