Description Jon CLA 2011-10-12 12:49:16 EDT
Build Identifier: Eclipse Platform	3.6.1.r361_v20100909

It is very easy to accidentally close a project, especially if you have to click refresh often. Closing a project can have pretty major consequences (removal of ant script from ant view, un-deployment from a web container, etc) and can be time consuming to recover from. I'd like to be prompted with "are you sure you want to close this project?" before closing it. You could have an option of "don't show this message again" sort of thing.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.right click on project in package explorer
2.click close (by accident)
3.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
