Description Sam Davis CLA 2011-10-07 18:43:45 EDT
As suggested by Zoe Jong, it would be useful to see headers from the task description (e.g. h1.) included in the quick outline (ctrl+o). It might even be good to include bolded terms under their headers. For example, the following text:

h1. Title

Text

h2. Subtitle

Someting *important* here. *This* is important too.

h2. Another Subtitle

More *text*

--

would contribute something like this to the outline:

Title
--Subtitle
----important
----This
--Another Subtitle
----text

That's an interesting idea. This would require some of the support discussed on bug 165859 to allow editor tabs or attribute editors to contribute to the outline.

Mylyn has been restructured, and our issue tracking has moved to GitHub [1].

We are closing ~14K Bugzilla issues to give the new team a fresh start. If you feel that this issue is still relevant, please create a new one on GitHub.
